What service do you need?

Liquid plastic roofing
Seamless and fully bonded waterproofing that’s ideal for complex details and live refurbishment work.

Felt flat roofing
Ideal for robust refurbishments and replacements, including thermal upgrades for long-term performance.

Cladding and overcladding
Overcladding, trims and façade elements that improve performance, weather protection and the finished look of the building.

Maintenance and repairs
Fast, sensible roof repairs and planned maintenance work to prevent small issues becoming big costs.
At Sennit Construction, we deliver flat roofing refurbishments, liquid-applied waterproofing and cladding works for public sector and commercial clients across Glasgow and Scotland, with capacity to deliver larger-scaled projects throughout the UK.
We plan around the people using the building, not the other way around. Our sweet spot is occupied and sensitive environments: schools during term time, live retail, care settings, housing, community buildings and operational facilities.
We keep things straightforward: we’ll assess what’s there, explain your options, and recommend a solution that suits the building, budget and risk.
No jargon. No pressure. Just good work delivered properly.
Areas we cover
We’re based in Glasgow and deliver projects throughout Scotland. We also undertake larger-scale refurbishment and roofing projects across Northern England.
Who we work with
Building surveyors, facilities managers, councils, housing associations and main contractors.
How we work
At Sennit, we work on a lot of live and occupied sites. We:
1
Diagnose properly
We don’t guess. We inspect, identify the cause, and explain your options simply. You’ll know what can be done immediately and what should be planned for later.
2
Make it safe and watertight
If it’s urgent, we prioritise stopping water ingress and making the area safe, especially in occupied buildings.
3
Repair with a long-term mindset
We’ll advise if a repair is sensible, or if you’re better investing in a targeted refurbishment. Either way, you’ll get an honest recommendation.
4
Plan the programme around occupancy
Noise, access, safeguarding and disruption are built into the plan so there’s minimal disruption to you, your tenants and your community.
5
Report clearly
You’ll receive clear notes and photos (where possible) so you can keep records, justify budgets, and plan next steps. We’ll make sure the right people know what’s happening and when, no surprises.

Not sure what roofing you need?
That’s normal. Start with an inspection and we’ll advise the best next step.
Reporting a leak?
Make sure you email us on maintenance@sennit.co.uk with the subject line ‘Leak report’
Please include:
- Site address and postcode
- Contact name and phone number
- Clear photos of the affected areas (inside and outside if possible)
- The exact location of the leak within the building
- When the issue was first noticed
- Whether the water ingress (water that’s coming in) is intermittent or continuous
- What the access to the roof is like, including any restrictions
This’ll help us assess the urgency and get in touch quickly.
If there’s an immediate danger (e.g. electrical risk or ceiling collapse), isolate the area and follow your site safety procedures first.
