How we work

We’re at our best when we’re on a roof or scaling a building, and we work to make sure safety above all (literally). Whether it’s schools during term time, live retail environments, care settings, community buildings or operational facilities, our approach is built around:

  • Planning that protects occupants: clear sequencing, controlled access and sensible working hours
  • Straight communication: you’ll always know what’s happening and what’s next
  • Quality you can inspect: detailing, finishes and handover standards that stand up to scrutiny
  • Compliance as standard: the systems, paperwork and supervision to keep everyone safe

FAQs

Do you offer emergency roof repairs in Glasgow?

Yes. If you’ve got active water ingress, we’ll prioritise making the building safe and watertight, then advise on the right permanent repair. If you’ve got active water ingress, the fastest way to help us respond is to email us reporting a leak.

Can you inspect a roof and tell us what actually needs done?

Yes. We can carry out an inspection and provide clear findings and recommendations.

Do you provide maintenance contracts?

We offer planned inspection programmes and repeat maintenance support. The right setup depends on how many buildings you manage and the risk profile

Do you work in occupied buildings and live environments?

Yes. A significant proportion of our projects are delivered in occupied buildings including schools, sheltered housing and operational commercial premises. We are experienced in phased working, maintaining watertight integrity and coordinating closely with site management to minimise disruption.

What information should I send when reporting a leak?

Make sure you email us on ‘maintenance@sennitconstruction.co.uk with the subject line ‘Leak report’
Please include:
• Site address and postcode
• Contact name and phone number
• Clear photos of the affected areas (inside and outside if possible)
• The exact location of the leak within the building
• When the issue was first noticed
• Whether the water ingress (water that’s coming in) is intermittent or continuous
• What the access to the roof is like, including any restrictions
This’ll help us assess the urgency and get in touch quickly.

Can you maintain a fully watertight roof or building during refurbishment?

Yes. When it’s needed, we sequence works in controlled phases to make sure the building remains protected at all times. Temporary waterproofing measures, weather monitoring and programmed strip-and-replace sequencing are built into our methodology, so your property remains watertight during refurbishment.

Are you experienced in working under a Principal Contractor?

Yes. We regularly operate as a specialist subcontractor under CDM regulations and are familiar with RAMS approval processes, pre-start meetings, permit systems and daily coordination requirements.

Can you assist during the pre-construction stage?

Yes. Getting in touch with us early improves sequencing and reduces risk. We provide:
• Site surveys
• Condition reports
• Budget cost guidance
• Build-up recommendations
• Programme input

Do you hold manufacturer approvals?

Yes. We’re approved installers for selected leading roofing system manufacturers and can provide system-backed warranties where required. Take a look at our partners.

What warranty options do you offer?

We can provide manufacturer-backed warranties. These are subject to system specification and project scope.
